The company, which was founded in 2021, through one of its newest services, namely the AquaLink integration system, continues to expand the assistance and handling of its aquaculture partners.
Where through the AquaLink service, Delos will consolidate the value chain from upstream to downstream. Starting from the selection of raw materials such as fry and feed, processing, marketing, export channels, to direct sales to foreign markets such as Japan and America.
This is certainly done with the aim of encouraging the growth of the aquaculture industry and starting a blue revolution in Indonesia. In addition, they also target that in early 2024 Delos will be able to bring the Indonesian flag to other countries through the export of these shrimp. “We have started installing Aqualink from upstream, slowly going downstream, going to the export market. So that in early 2024 we already have the Delos brand that carries the Indonesian flag to other countries,” said CEO of Delos, Guntur Mallarangeng, Tuesday (21/6). ) in Jakarta. In the short term, Guntur explained that his party is targeting to open 200 hectares of ponds throughout Indonesia.
From this target, to date, fewer than 100 hectares of ponds have been implemented in Banyuwangi, Garut, Pontianak, Lampung, Aceh, Bangka and Medan. “In the short term, we can have internal production to at least be able to fill one shrimp factory. That way next year we can start exporting abroad,” added Guntur. Recently, Delos also announced that it won an initial seed extension round of US$ 8 million or around Rp. 114 billion. The funding will be used to build and develop AquaHero and AquaLink.
